Garston Bowls Club is one of three Clubs in the Watford area that self maintain their facilities having taken on the responsibility from the local authority.

This type of arrangement is becoming more prevalent as Local Authority budgets are squeezed.

FBP provided professional advice to all three Clubs in the form of negotiating and agreeing new leases for each club from the local authority landlord and in doing so helped to secure the continued use of the facilities for the forseeable future in conjunction with Greens4Bowls the Bowling Green Maintenance Company.

In addition FBP has also negotiated the settlement of the rent review in relation to the facilities occupied by Welwyn & District Bowls Club under lease from the Parish Council and previously agreed the rent review between Croxley Guild of Sport and Three Rivers District Council in respect of the sports field and the diverse sporting facilities located there.

FBP has advised and is advising more Clubs in their negotiations over rent reviews and lease renewals.
